Los Angeles arrival
Arrive in Los Angeles and transfer independently via shuttle bus to your hotel where you will meet your Tour Director in the evening.
Day 2 / Sun:
Los Angeles (Universal Studios optional)
Today, spend the day exploring Los Angeles at your leisure, or take an optional full-day tour to the world’s largest movie studio and theme park: Universal Studios. Go behind-the-scenes on the legendary Studio Tour to explore Hollywood’s most famous backlot. See Wisteria Lane from ABC’s hit series Desperate Housewives, come face-to-face with Norman Bates at the legendary Bates Motel from Psycho, brace yourself as Jaws lurks deep beneath the waters … and much, much more.
Day 3 / Mon:
Los Angeles – Malibu – Santa Barbara – Central Coast
Travel north along the beautiful Pacific coast this morning, passing through the iconic beach communities of Santa Monica and Malibu. Stop by the “End of the Trail” of Historic Route 66 and at an iconic California lifeguard tower made famous by “Baywatch.” Then it’s on to Santa Barbara, where palm-lined walkways border white sandy beaches. Stop for lunch, and enjoy the cities Spanish architecture before continuing to a quaint central coast town.
Day 4 / Tue:
Central Coast – Carmel – Monterey – San Francisco
Dip your toes into the cool, refreshing waters of the Pacific during an early morning beach stroll, then leave Shell/ Pismo Beach and travel along Pacific Coast Highway’s twisting, cliff-hugging route through Big Sur and the quaint village of Carmel before embarking on an exhilarating journey along one of the most scenic roads in the world, 17-Mile Drive. Afterwards, take in the sights, sounds and smells of Monterey at Old Fisherman’s Wharf and explore Cannery Row’s historic waterfront district, John Steinbeck’s inspiration for his novel of the same name. In the afternoon, pass the fertile valleys of Castroville and Santa Clara en route to San Francisco, the famed “City by the Bay.” Your tour concludes upon arrival in San Francisco.

Minimum participation on all motor coach tours is 20 passengers unless the tour is identified as a guaranteed. For non-guaranteed departure dates, we reserve the right to cancel or operate the departure by van.
Hotel services in the US customarily do not include breakfast. If you do not wish to have breakfast at the hotel restaurant (where available), you may frequently find coffee shops and restaurants close by which serve good and inexpensive breakfasts. Some hotels do offer a continental breakfast. Usually, this continental breakfast is basic and contains coffee, pastries and sometimes cereal, cheese or fruit. Complimentary breakfast offered by a hotel may be discontinued at any time with or without notice.
Each passenger traveling on an escorted motor-coach tour is allowed one piece of checked baggage per person due to space limitations. Additional luggage will be charged at $7.00 per person per day.
