Days 2 & 3:
Your day begins with an early morning transfer to board the all daylight Rocky Mountaineer train. Travel through the Pacific Coastal Mountains, Hell’s Gate and onto Kamloops for the evening. Transfer to your hotel in Kamloops for dinner on your own and an overnight stay. The next morning, transfer back to the Kamloops train station where you reboard Rocky Mountaineer and continue on your journey to the Canadian Rockies. Travel through the South Thompson River area, Kicking Horse Pass and Spiral Tunnels before arriving into Banff. Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. Overnight Kamloops/ Banff. (B, L)

Visiting Lake Louise and the Yoho Valley
Today’s sightseeing excursion takes you past the Vermilion Lakes and on to Lake Louise. Highlights along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway include Johnston Canyon, with time to walk to the lower falls, and views of Castle Mountain. You will cross the Continental Divide and enter Yoho National Park with a visit to Emerald Lake. Overnight Lake Louise. (L)
Lake Louise to Jasper Sightseeing
Your full-day excursion takes you along one of the most spectacular highways of the world – the Icefields Parkway. With cascading waterfalls, broad-reaching valleys, tranquil mountain lakes, glaciers and snow-capped peaks, amazing vistas unfold with every glance. Stopping at the Columbia Icefield, take time to experience an Ice Explorer ride on to the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. From the Icefield, continue touring on to Jasper. Overnight Jasper. (L)

VIA Rail Canadian from Jasper to Toronto
Late this morning, transfer to the Jasper train station to board VIA Rail’s Canadian. Say goodbye to the peaceful mountain town of Jasper as you depart for Toronto, the economic center of Canada. This morning, depart on a full day sightseeing excursion to Niagara Falls. Travel through the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula to Niagara Falls, one of the great wonders of the world. Highlights of today’s excursion include a lunch buffet while overlooking the waterfall, plus a trip of the world-famous The Hornblower, which travels to the base of the majestic Horseshoe Falls. Also included is a trip along the beautiful River Road, which winds its way along the Niagara Gorge. VIA Rail Canada Train
This classic 1950’s Streamliner train follows VIA Rail’s signature route between Toronto and Vancouver. During the 4-night journey, the train traverses the plains, river valleys and Canadian Rockies. Travelers can admire the changing scenery from the Park Car and the Skyline Dome Car or from their accommodation’s picture window.
This overnight train offers stunning views of Eastern Canada as it makes the journey between Montréal and Halifax. While aboard the Ocean, guests can enjoy such amenities as regional cuisine in the Dining Car, free Wi-Fi, wine tastings and beautiful views from the domed sightseeing car.
Corridor Service trains travel between Québec City and Windsor, with 11 total routes. Travelers have the choice of Economy or Business Class. Both classes include
comfortable seating and large windows, however, Business Class passengers enjoy priority seating, a meal and beverages included in the price of their ticket.
Sleeping on the Train
Prestige Class is only available on the Canadian long-distance route. Prestige Class cabins offer large bedrooms with a double Murphy bed, a flat-screen TV, a fully stocked mini bar, a modular sofa and an en suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and sink. Travelers are treated to unlimited beverages, personal concierge service and first choice meal service. (Dimensions 10’5 x 6’11)
Cabin for two accommodations are private bedrooms and include two folding chairs or a sofa by day that convert to upper and lower berths at night. An en suite bathroom is included. Shower facilities are located within the rail car. (Dimensions: Ranging from 6’5 x 4’5” to 7’3” x 5”)
Cabin for one is a private cozy cabin that includes a sofa chair by day. Night-time configuration allows for a bed that pulls out form the wall. (Dimensions: 6’5’ x 3’7”)
Upper and lower berths are semi-private sleeping accommodations for one person. Daytime configuration features a couch-style seat facing another seat. At night, the seat converts into a bed. There are heavy curtains that can be pulled for privacy. Public washrooms and shower facilities are available within the train car.
